Adaptations for ToothForm: decoded glTF Draco compression; applied source scene transforms; normalized display scale and per-tooth orientation; exported OBJ. Right teeth mirror left references with corrected triangle winding. dundee-textured-manifest.json records full source-resolution detail meshes with original UVs, normals, vertex colors and unchanged source texture images. Its atlas meshes are attribute-aware simplifications targeting 24,000 triangles per tooth. Runtime base-color derivatives extend existing colors only outside original UV coverage to prevent black background bleeding into mipmaps. Original maps and all pixels covered by source UV triangles remain unchanged. Precompiled SceneKit versions preserve geometry and material identifiers while adding an offline-computed tangent basis to avoid runtime OBJ parsing. The earlier untextured 24,000-triangle conversion remains separately identified in dundee-manifest.json. Texture/vertex-color interpretation in the app is a rendering choice; source colors are educational artwork, not calibrated clinical color data. These are morphology teaching models, not a patient or a population average. Some source descriptions identify CT-based construction; others describe digital ZBrush modeling only. No measured internal canals are included in the Dundee family. Current numbered Endo visualization uses each layered scan-derived specimen’s registered pulp, with source-specific limits described in SCANNED_ATTRIBUTION.txt and the other source notices. The earlier exterior-and-canal teaching family described in ATTRIBUTION.txt remains a development resource; its schematic canals are not registered to Dundee surfaces and are not substituted for matched scan pulp. Scene dimensions/cervical levels are display parameters, not clinical measurements. Source authors and institutions do not endorse this app. Source metadata discrepancy checked October 10, 2026: the model titled "Mandibular Second Molar" (b77dcbc5052e4740b87cdb1964649742) has an upstream description that instead says "Maxillary Third Molar (Left)". The bundled source title is retained, but the description conflict remains unresolved without author confirmation. Current numbered #18/#31 use the separately attributed ACTA-DIRECT v2 tooth 0056 (ACTA_DIRECT_ATTRIBUTION.txt), not this Dundee fallback.
