Toothnroll study data — registered enamel, dentin and pulp surfaces Dataset: Profico, Antonio and Augoyard, Mathilde (2025). Original modern-human specimens, from individual 6220: - Right maxillary central incisor 6220URI1, UI1_root_r_6220URI1.txt: original atlas position 8; explicitly mirrored counterpart at position 9. - Right maxillary lateral incisor 6220URI2, UI2_root_r_6220URI2.txt: original atlas position 7; explicitly mirrored counterpart at position 10. - Left maxillary canine 6220ULC, UC_root_l_6220ULC.txt: original atlas position 11; explicitly mirrored counterpart at position 6. The canine assignment follows the specimen-specific filename, header, vignette and landmarks. The article's more general prose could imply right laterality; this discrepancy has not been resolved by direct author confirmation. These are three physical specimens plus three mirrored teaching views. The paper describes Nikon XTH 225ST micro-CT sampling of 40–58 micrometres for the study cohort and researcher watershed segmentation with manual correction. The exact acquisition spacing for these three exports was not established. Original raw scan volumes are not included in this deposit. No independent image-to-segmentation or clinical accuracy validation is asserted. Modifications by ToothForm: Parsed the public text exports and preserved all original triangles in dense detail meshes. Applied one shared rigid coordinate transform to all tissues using the cervical outline, apex and buccal/lingual landmarks, with scale unchanged: crown near Y=0, roots +Y, buccal -Z. Opposite-side displays reflect X and reverse face winding. Dense meshes receive no resegmentation, smoothing, repair, canal invention, or per-tissue fitting. OBJ normals are computed from the preserved faces. Converted reviewed OBJ meshes to native SceneKit files. Atlas display LODs use meshoptimizer simplification with locked source borders, retained source vertex positions/normals, and about 12,000 triangles per tissue. Dense geometry remains available in isolated detail. Tissue colors, gloss and translucency are authored display materials, not measured photographic color. Source enamel/dentin meshes have open boundaries and small source defects; these are research surfaces, not certified closed tissue solids. Pulp meshes are closed surfaces. Natural wear and tiny source fragments are retained. These meshes are not certified for diagnosis, precision measurement, simulation or physical printing. Complete hashes, topology, transforms and simplification records accompany this project's source provenance reports.
