Denthesia Support
Prepared iPhone Duo update
The next source update adapts to the iPhone Duo inner and outer displays. Local-anesthetic, sedation and emergency references use two readable columns when space permits, and wide windows show each emergency reference summary in full. Session Assist places timers beside attention guidance on a wide window, so both can be reviewed together. Compact windows and accessibility text retain one column. Existing reference disclosures and session timing remain in the same view hierarchy while the window resizes.
The update has not been uploaded or released through App Store Connect. Existing Store builds retain their prior behavior. If reporting a layout issue, include the app version, whether the phone was folded or open, orientation and text-size setting; do not include patient information.
The app follows your system language automatically. Reviewed interface and clinical labels are bundled in 15 languages. Clinical text without a reviewed bundled translation stays in English, and earlier unreviewed clinical caches are ignored. Apple Translation is limited to a small explicit list of nonclinical interface text, such as feedback controls; Apple may request a language-model download for those strings. See Language support for languages, platform requirements, and verification limits.
Office Settings → Language and translations explains that English is the primary language and that translations into other languages may be inaccurate. If wording is unclear, consult the original linked source and report the affected language and screen without patient information.
Denthesia is developed by Sansar Gupta for trained dental clinicians.
Contact
Email Sansar Gupta for app support, privacy questions, or a clinical-content concern. Include the app version/build from Office Settings → About & Support, your device and operating-system version, the affected screen, and the steps that reproduce the issue.
Use Office Settings → About & Support → Report a Bug or Request a Feature for Bug Report, Crash Report, or Feature Request. After a previous crash, reopen Denthesia and describe what you were doing before it closed unexpectedly. Open Email prepares a draft to sansargupta10@gmail.com for you to review and send. Copy Report and Copy Email Address work when email is unavailable or the report is too long for an email link. Only your description, selected category, app name/version/build, platform, and operating-system version are included. Nothing is sent automatically; no patient data, files, screenshots, or crash logs are attached.
Use About & Support → Report a content concern to prepare a report with public build and reference-review metadata. You decide whether and where to share it. Do not include patient identifiers, patient screenshots, medical records, or protected health information in support email or GitHub issues. Support is not an emergency service or clinical consultation.
References and height/BMI
Browse medication references without entering a patient. Published dosage information is static, source-linked, and independent of the optional profile. Denthesia does not compute medication doses, cartridge counts, combined totals, preparation volumes, dilutions, or infusion rates. Review current product labeling and your clinical protocol.
Height & BMI remains available in Local, Assist, Office Settings, and global search. Enter measured height and weight with the correct units. BMI does not change medication references. The app provides the raw BMI, not pediatric percentiles or a diagnosis.
Apple Calculator links open its official App Store page on iPhone/iPad and its guide on Mac. Open the installed Calculator from Search, Control Center, Applications, or Spotlight as appropriate. Denthesia does not send an expression or patient information to Calculator. Office notes and concentration notes are manual references only.
Published References, Siri and Spotlight
Office Settings → Siri & Shortcuts opens the searchable Published References library with 65 exact formulation/route entries. Read the full identity and source context before using a reference. Siri actions can read public medication information, timing and citations or compare two separately cited references; ambiguous formulations or routes remain separate choices.
Public references in Siri & Spotlight controls indexing and onscreen context. Turning it off removes the public index; explicitly requested public-reference shortcuts remain available. Private profiles, BMI inputs, office notes and retained records are not included. Authentication, Siri recognition and Apple Intelligence availability depend on the device, OS and system settings.
Timers and audio
Allow notifications in system settings for reminders outside the app. Focus, notification settings, device volume, and the selected audio route affect delivery. The in-app timer display remains available if notification permission is denied. Repeating vital reminders continue until stopped or Session Assist is ended, including while the app is closed; stop them before leaving a case.
After changing notification permission, reopen Denthesia and review Session Assist. If permission is off, the visible timer is retained while obsolete pending requests are removed. Re-enabling notifications alone does not establish a new background reminder; reopening the app lets it reconcile the current timer.
If the device clock changes, return to Session Assist and compare the displayed timing with the paper record. A system clock correction rebuilds affected notification requests; an invalid session ends with a warning. Ordinary timezone changes do not restart a valid repeating cadence. Notification delivery still depends on the operating system.
The CPR metronome is a cadence aid. Confirm its sound is audible. It stops when leaving the event or app and when audio is interrupted or its output changes. Tap Start after confirming the new output. It does not measure compressions or replace resuscitation protocols.
Local information and privacy
If a profile autosave warning remains after closing Height & BMI, its current changes may not have been saved. Resolve the protected-storage error and save again; a successful later save clears the notice. Do not assume closing an editor proves persistence.
The app has no account or patient-data server. The developer cannot retrieve information stored only on your device. Do not remove local app data or Keychain items while troubleshooting. If the app reports a protected-data or recovery error, preserve the current device state and include the error wording without patient information in your support request.
Review the Denthesia Privacy Policy for storage, notifications, local clearing controls, support correspondence, and retained legacy records. Deleting the Mac app executable does not necessarily delete its local data.

Supported interface languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Indonesian, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Russian is no longer offered. Set the preferred language in system or per-app settings; an unsupported language falls back to the next supported preference, then English.
